Yayyy! It’s Christmas time again and it’s time to party again!

First of all, we take this occasion to thank all our wonderful visitors who make this site a great success. The site would have never been the same without you people.

At this time, let us just recall few of our features. We currently have about 1208 user agents registered for using OpenSubtitles API, and the subtitles database has increased to about 3555087 total number of subtitles.

An average around 1000 subtitles are uploaded every day to our site. And there are about 1500000 subtitles downloaded on average each day, that means around 17 subtitles is downloaded every second.

  1. Open subtitles doesn’t work anymore. It’s a pity. Capcha app’s every 2 downloads, asking for money, upgrading. It feels like scamming.

Drawing on over 72,000 English-language subtitle files from fiction feature films made between 1911 and 2022, the analysis reveals patterns in cinematic declarations of love across genres and decades.
